Climbing the ranks in the Battle League will net you some neat rewards including golden razz berries, evolution items, and TMs. You can also encounter some rare Pokemon, the following of which are confirmed: 

  • Machamp: Rank 1 
  • Mienfoo: Rank 6 
  • Axew: Ace Rank 
  • Noibat: Veteran Rank
  • Pikachu Libre: Legend Rank

Trainers can also receive the following Pokemon as standard encounters throughout the season at the ranks below: 

  • Rank 1 onwards: Poliwag, Wingull, Meditite, Litwick, Skwovet, Skarmory
  • Rank 6 onwards: Mienfoo
  • Rank 11 onwards: Lickitung, Hitmontop, Karrablast, Frillish, Shelmet
  • Rank 16 onwards: Absol, Pancham, Phalanx
  • Rank 20 onwards: five-star Raid Boss
  • Ace Rank onwards: Axew
  • Veteran Rank onwards: Noibat

Reaching Rank 3 will net you a new avatar pose, avatar items inspired by Bea, the Fighting-type Gym Leader of the Galar region. 

  • Ace rank: Bea-Style Gloves
  • Veteran rank: Bea-Style Headband
  • Expert rank: Bea-Style Outfit
  • Legend rank: Bea-Style Pose
